Groundbreaking Ceremony at Ground Zero in Barangay Pula, Asipulo

The groundbreaking ceremony and blessing of the long awaited improvement of the Pula-Cawayan-Camandag Farm to Market Road with Bridge which is worth Php 244,306,423.53 is under the Philippine Rural Development Project-Scale Up of the Department of Agriculture and which was awarded to the winning bidder, Alfalfa Construction, was finally held on September 9, 2024 at ground zero, Pula, Asipulo. It was followed by a simple program and a public consultation which was graced by Department of Agriculture personalities, Congressional and Provincial officials, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, MLGU-Asipulo Officials as well as Barangay Officials and communities from barangays Pula, Cawayan and Camandag. During the ceremony, Mayor Archie Lee Quindo of Asipulo reiterated his profound gratitude and appreciation saying that this project will surely make an impact to the lives of his constituents thus uplifting their economic status as well. Likewise, the Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan manifested their undivided support and lauded this developmental initiative for the municipality and the province. Also, Mr. Ramsis Cabbigat of the Congressional Office stressed that the very purpose of this endeavor is not to cause divisiveness among community members but rather to foster harmony while elevating their economic condition in the light of the common good. Governor Jerry U. Dalipog finally enjoined everyone to partake of the benefits of having a farm to market road with the end in view of improving the economic status of the community while experiencing a more improved way of life. With emphasis, he verbalized that the realization of this project is the concerted effort of all various sectors that contributed to its eventual realization. With hearts full, the Provincial Project Monitoring and Implementing Unit (PPMIU)-Ifugao is one with the hope of a successful completion of this project. To the Department of Agriculture, from the national down to the provincial level, the Province of Ifugao expresses its sincerest gratitude for this generous provision. InfoAce/ppmiu/ifugao
